Acute angle-closure glaucoma is an emergency

• Sudden, severe pain in one eye
• A red eye
• Blurred or misty vision
• Rainbow-coloured rings (haloes) around lights
• Headache, feeling sick or vomiting

Go to the Emergency Department now. Do not wait until tomorrow: sight can be lost within hours.
